She was selected as the Global Underwater Explorers NextGen Global Scholar and works as a Marine Project Manager for a new marine organisation Inkfish, leading expeditions around the world. In 2019 she was awarded the prestigious youth award at the Women of Influence Awards for her work towards NZ marine wildlife education and conservation.
